Finlandia Hall
The ESCAP
2011 congress will be held in Helsinki, the capital of Finland and
the congress
venue will be Finlandia Hall which is located very close to the
city center.
Finlandia
Hall is one of the leading concert and congress venues in Helsinki.
Centrally placed, yet set amid park-like surroundings, it is an
excellent environment for concerts, conferences and exhibitions.
 Finlandia
Hall was designed by architect Alvar Aalto in 1962 and built
between 1967–1972. The plan for the congress wing was drawn in
1970 and it was constructed between 1973–1975.
